Hi,

You can make an acceleration and a decceleration phase using a custom function.
The deceleration function will between your max speed
and your low speed. From the "low speed" to Stop you can use the program you allready made.
Problem is that you need an extra control for this function.

Dan.

PS. When you find a better solution please let me know. I'm not 100% happy with this solution.

Hi,

I have several variables (about 100 ) that are more the 16bit long.
What will be the easy way to use two DM[] to store 1 variable.

Any other sugestion?

Thanks

Mark,

"One important new addition for OEM is the ability to export compiled code to a file which can be uploaded into the PLC using a standalone "TL5 Uploader" program. This makes it easier for OEM to distribute software self-upgrade for their equipment without giving the source code to the end user and without the need to purchase the production version of Internet TRiLOGI software for the end user."

I used this feature several times and it works.
I hope this will help

Hi,

I put togethet a small interface that basicly splits the Pulse signal. Each interface is controlled using extra PLC's outpus.

Thank you for sugestions

Technical support / stepper pulse output

Hi,

I would like to use a T100 to controll a 3 axis system.

There is any way I can add one more channell to have 3 pulse outputs? (I believe that except the higher output that I don't need is just a function that makes theese two channels so different)

I will never use all 3 in the same time (maybe two) but I need to get back a "move done" in corelation with the relay from the StepMove cmd.

I'm open to any other sugestions

Hi,

I have some questions
1. There is any way that 20000pps can be increase?
2. Do you have any plans to incresed this no and when?
3. In the same program I will have different segments that in sometimes required only one chanell and I plan to use 20000Hz (more will be nicer) and in other sections I will need use 2 channels.
I just want to make sure that using two chanells for some segments will not limit all the sections to 10000pps.

Thank you,

Dan

Technical support / custom protocol
« on: August 18, 2005, 08:16:43 AM »
Hi,
I have a custom slave device that I would like to controll using PLC's COMM1.
A small software that allows me to test the slave from a PC. works perfec.

If I send the same command with the PLC ( ie.  Outcomm 1,&H55 )I can see this being received by PC.
In the same time same command is not received by the slave.

So the slave works with the PC, the PLC works with a PC but they are not working between them.
The slave receives the signal thru a Max232.
Any sugestions?. I run out of ideeas

Technical support / PC as HI

Hi,

I'm working on a project where I need to have several screens(pages) to control and/or monitor.
Due to the requirements looks like will be a good alternative to use a PC as a humman interface.

1. Beside Java, there is other method to do this?
2. Do you have an sample program?

Thank you,

Dan

Technical support / NMC protocol
« on: February 20, 2005, 02:14:48 PM »
Hi,

I'm planning to use T100MD to controll some slave devices using RS485.
Slaves are only capable to use Networked Modular Control protocol.
There is a NMC protocol implemented?
If not can I use Setprotocol ch,10 to create a protocol?
Do you have an example how to develop a protocol (NMC)?

Problem is that I have no experience in this so I realy need help

Thank you,

Dan

Technical support / Re:Output
« on: October 18, 2004, 10:23:24 AM »
Hi,

Is output #13.
Like I said I  allready  changed the TPIC6A595 (I had some extra unused outputs) but I had the same problem and only on that output. The LED is comming on but no power on the output.

For know I changed the output to an unused one, looks ok, but definetly I like to know what is going on.

Please advice

Hi,

A few days ago burning out some drivers I remember about your posting.(and my motors are require only 5A)

Based on your requirements (9A- and probably the start curent is quite a bit more) my sugestion is to drive the pumps with two diferent voltages - one for each speed.
Use two different outputs from the PLC one for the slow speed and one the the second speed.
You can use a regular relay or solid state relay

Hi,

On a 2424 PLC one of the output is activated-LED on, but I have no voltage. I replaced the TPIC6A595 but with no succes. All other outputs are working Ok.

All the  outputs (includig one in question) are driving  24V relays.(Omron MY4)

Please let me know

Dan
