DOS installation on Windows NT PC
« on: March 08, 2002, 02:09:18 AM »
Hi
I've just taken delivery of T100MD 888 Internet PLC.  I'm using the PLC in a University teaching/project environment.  Our PC network uses Windows NT.  How do I install the Trilogi software V5.0 which requires full DOS environment installation on an NT machine?  :-/

V5.0 does not requires full DOS environment. You should be able to install the Version 5.0 software directly off the CD-ROM. First install the JRE 1.3.1 in the default directory (C:\Program Files\) and then run the "SetupTL5.exe" file.

The DOS Version 4.13 bundled in the CD-ROM would need to be run in a full DOS environment. Since you are using the T100MD888+ you do not need to use the DOS version of the software.
