RemoteFS

I use the RemoteFS and Print commands to send a log file to a PC running Trilog server software. The file ends up in the Fileservice folder. Is it possible to send the file to another folder? I would like to store the log file in the Trilog public folder so I can access it from a web browser.

Sorry there is no such option in the current TLServer version. The file created are all stored in the "Fileservice" subfolder.

One way for you to access the files stored on the FileService folder is to run a FTP server on your PC (e.g. Filezilla SERVER edition). You will then be able to define any folder on your PC that can be assigned a username and password to login to download the file. i.e. The PLC log file so created can be accessed from a FTP client.

Another solution is for the PLC to log the data to an online data logging service, such as the experimental http://www.plclog.com where the logged data can be accessed from any browser and downloaded as an excel file.
