PID and Cable
« on: August 18, 2004, 08:29:35 PM »
Hello,
I have 2 questions.
1.  Do you make a PLC with PID commands or do you have any suggestions?
2.  Can I use a standard cable and use the sofware called "educational" from the net?  Or is the software in the starter package different?

I can't believe your prices and will be purchasing my first tomorrow.  thanks.

The M-series PLC have built-in PID computation command.

The educational version of the software cannot be used to transfer the program to the PLC. When you purchase the PLC starter kit you will receive the production version of TRiLOGI which is what you will use for programming the actual PLC.

The production version share identical data file structure with the educational version so whatever program you write using the educational version can be used unmodified and be transferred to the PLC.
