Book for PLC couse at a uni?

Hi all
I am going to tech a basic course about PLC systems at a University. The course is both for normal students and for industry people who want to deepen their knowledge about PLC systems. The book should cover both theoretical and practical aspects of PLC systems. Does anyone have any suggestion?
