Directly driving a small motor
« on: November 04, 2005, 09:38:00 AM »
I am attempting to drive a small 12VDC motor  (Globe model# 415A155-2). Using a PWM out @ 50% duty cycle I get approx. 12VDC on the output when no load is applied.  However when the motor is connected Nothing.  I am using T100MD-888+ which has a PWM out rating of 10A and the load resistance of the motor is about 8 ohms.

Whoops...A slight wiring error was the problem.  Once I reconfigured for current sourcing  things started working.
