Power Supply limits to the T1100MD

I have two nominally 12vdc wheelchair batteries connected in series that charge up to 15 volts each to power up a dc motor. I am using a separate 24 dc supply to power the plc controlling the motor speed thru PWM. Can I use the 30vdc motor supply to power the plc and eliminate separate 24vdc power supply?

2. Also I am using the  2nd pwm circuit on the plc to control the charging current to the batteries from an external battery charger which would mean that during charging, if I eliminated the separate supply to the plc, the plc would see  the charging  pulses going to batteries with a peak value around 35VDC.

It is not recommended to apply more than 28V power supply to the PLC as it may overheat the 7818 voltage regulator on the PLC. If you have higher voltage you can connect a high current 7824 voltage regulator to step down the voltage from the power supply to 24V before connecting to the PLC.
