« on: April 16, 2004, 02:41:32 PM »
I am unable to get the TL server to run on my XP Machine. I have a 1000 series plc and have the downloaded updates, but the icon for the server does not show on the running process bar. I cannot comunicate with the plc.

Did you install JRE first before installing the TRiLOGI software? This  step is required so that the TRiLOGI setup program can determine the installation folder of the JRE and install the relevant file there.

There is a thread discussing issues associated with running TLServer at the "Frequently Asked Questions" board, or click the following:

The tip for running TL server for XP and copying the "jspwin.dll" file to

C:\Program Files\JavaSoft\JRE\1.3.1\bin

resulted in the solution of the problem I was having with my server.

the result was the program spooled up on the first try. If you loaded this file to the "lib" file it is not accessed during initialization of the TL server program. thank you for the assistance.
