Title: 0-5 VDC analog output
Post by: DYL on February 19, 2005, 09:19:42 AM
I have a device that will be controlled by the analog output of the PLC.

THe analog output is 0-5VDC. But the device accept 0-10VDC input control signal (0-10VDc coresponding to the 0-100% power level).

If I supply 0-5VDC, the device can only run 0-50% power level, the max is only half the capacity.

Any suggestiions?

You will need to find a device or construct your own op Amp circuit that
will convert the 0-5V to 0-10V.

A simple x 2 non-inverting opAmp can be constructed easily by refering
to any Operational Amplifier cook book.

For T100MD11616+, there is one channel of 0-20mA analog output which can connect to 4-20mA type or convert to 0-10V using a 500 ohm resistor.
