can you please tell me the largest display that can be used on the 888 is it 4*40 or just 4*20 thanks for the help.  ;D

Largest display using built-in LCD port is 4x20 or 2 x 40.

However, if you use the RS232 or RS485 based third party serial LCD display then there is no limit, even graphical display can be used. Please check those products offered by Scott-English, Matrix Orbital, etc.
