Title: pwm chanel 1 10A
Post by: kenobe on March 09, 2009, 02:44:18 AM
Hi
the pwm pin output#7 max output current 10A
does it  mean source 10A to the load? how long can it last?
output voltage when on: 1V@10A NOT 12V@10A???
THANKS

On T100MD888+ the peak output current it can sink is 10A. When OFF, the output has a weak pull up to the PLC's positive terminal but when it turns on it goes to 0V and can sink peak 10A but continuous 2A only.

On T100MD2424+ the peak output current it can SOURCE is 10A and continous current is 2A. The output = 24V when turns ON and floating when it is OFF.

On T100MD1616+ the output sinks 1A max and 250mA continuous.

Thanks but
for tm100md888 , how long (time ) can the peak current last? 10ms?

It should be able to sink 10A for at least 1 second. The problem is not the driver's capacity, but the heat generated need to be dissipated via heat sink (not attached to driver) if it conducts 10A for prolonged period.
