Title: Can no longer set PLC's Time from TriLogi 5.12
Post by: raan on May 25, 2003, 06:41:14 PM
Anyone
I was running the Trilogi web server 2.0 and was able to set the time on a T100MD888 using both the trilogi application and java applet. Now I cannot set the time through either approach. Anyone have ideas as to what may be wrong? However I still can set the time with the DOS application. I tried re-installing the Trilogi app and server but to no avail.

1) Are you able to communicate with the serial port from within TLServer? Did you try the "IR*" command and what response did you get from the PLC?

2) Are you able to perform on-line monitoring, program transfer etc using Internet TRiLOGI?

We just realised that a bug in the TRiLOGI 5.12 software gives problem when you try to set the PLC clock on Sunday because the PC's real time clock gave a number 0 which was not handled properly by the software.  This will be fixed in the upcoming upgrade to version 5.2 (not yet released, should be soon).

We have released the TRiLOGI version 5.2. All licensed users can obtain free upgrade by following the "upgrade.htm" document in their CD ROM.
