Technical support / Reading & writing files from plc

I am trying to read and write files from PLC to the PC with the TLserver in it i.e. <WRITE> and <READ> function. I tried examples but had no luck. All i need to do is move data in file form to and from DM memory. Can you helo or suggest better examples?

Thanks for quick response. I did see new date as you have described. I'll hit he "Reset" button and am sure all will be fine. Thanks again for quick repsonse.

I just connected my new T100MD+ and when I ran the program to update the PLC Time & Date only the Time got updated...no change to the date -1/1/1998. Any ideas as to fix or is it just a bad PCB.

I couldn't find in manual what the little i and r meant in the ladder diagrams (i.e. next to start, relay symbols, etc.) I'm new to all this so need to ask this simple question.

Is there an easy way to scroll through text on the 4x20 LCD? I have the HD-MMI keypad/LCD package with the T100MD-1616. My application requires scrolling through a series of menus up and down to control motor drivers.

Is there a recommended way to display chinese characters on the LCD? My customer would like to replace Eenglish menu with simplified Chinese character font for usage in China. Don't know if this is possible.
