Technical support / Re:I did't set a password but it wants one.

It's all good. It let me add a user and work with my new UID but not with either
"Administrator" or "samples" UIDs. That's fine with me. Thanks for your help. ;D

There is probably something simple I forgot, it has been couple of years.
Ok, I start the TL server and Trilogi softwares. On the TL server if I go to
serial port set up and send a command I get a response string as in the
above post which I believe means the comm parameters are correct.
When I go to the Trilogi screen  controller-->select controller and detect ID
the response is an error screen that says "please check username/password
and retry" . I have not set a password and if there was one set it should
have been cleared by @01$cKILL00* if I understand it correctly.
I have reloaded my laptops(2 laptops) with Trilogi software but nothing
seems to change.

Thanks for the quick response. when I send the command @01$cKILL00 the
response I get is @01$c06. Is that the response string I should expect? If I try
to configure user it gives me password error. The "program transfer to PLC"
option under the controller menu remains inactive.
                                                             thanks again :'(

It has been a while since I messed with my T100MD + I powered it up and
it wants a password which I don't even remember setting. I am using trilogi
version 5.01 TL server 1.0. I don't have anything I need to preserve on the
PLC. How do I reset and establish communication so that I can go forward?

                                                                          thanks in advance. ::)

The PLC is T100MD-888+ Rev. D-1
The expansion is MD-EXP4040 Rev. A

That is right of the boards, I hope it is what you need.

                                                           thanks.

Technical support / output fault

 Hi!
I have a T100MD+  and an expansion units that have two output
ports I can't turn off. Output ports2 and 34 are always on. Which one
is the device that controls the outputs that I might need to replace?
or is there any other solution I can try ?
                                                                thanks.

Technical support / My concern about using PLC
« on: July 03, 2003, 08:15:15 PM »
8)

I have spent the last 10 months+ making a working model of an idea
I had. Thanks to T100 PLC the idea is now a reality.

If I plan a production model around a PLC, I am surely leaving it
open for anyone to copy and duplicate.  Are there controllers
available that can be programmed once and will not allow the user
access to the software on board?
Your PLCs have enough info on them for anyone to get on the
internet and download the software and start talking to them.
I am interested in some proprietary control.

    Thanks in advance
