Title: Stuck outputs
Post by: Yoseph Temegen on August 08, 2004, 02:57:44 PM

   I have a T100md-888+ on which OUTPUTS 5 & 6 remain stuck and
would no respond to IO reset or  power cycle. As I am doing ladder logic
tests and changing connections to the port, I may have damaged a device.
I always power off before making connections to the port. I need your
assistance in determining the faulty device and whether or not the part
may be availbe at  local electronic stores.

                              thanks in advance.

The IC that controls output 5 and 6 is the ULN2003A (UD2). You can buy it really easily from any electronic component store such as Fry or maybe Radio Shack (give them a call). Just pop out the old chip and put in a new one and it should be OK.
