Simulating RS232 Data In/Out

Is there a way in the simulation mode to handle RS232 data input?

If so, how is this done?  (Receive a Character in to the simulation)

You can simulate the INPUT$ command but not the INCOMM command. The INPUT$ command will prompt you to enter a text string and when you press the Enter key it will be read into the PLC.
