Connection of Analogue inputs
« on: January 19, 2006, 05:39:32 AM »
Hi

We are setting up a T100 with 2 analogue input sensors.  We are ok with the wiring of the sensors, and getting 5V onto AVcc (Pins 13-15).  However, where does the AVss reference to?  I can't see it in the documentation.

Thanks for any help on this one.

Best Regards
Maurice Clarke

AVss is the analog ground which is common to the PLC's 0V power supply. If you are connecting to external analog system you should provide a common ground reference between the PLC's analog ground and the external device analog ground. In case of 4-20mA sensor it will be the return terminal for the analog sensor connection.
