HSC channel settings?
« on: December 18, 2005, 11:44:44 AM »
I understand the T100MD has two HSC's, I/p's #3 & 4 form the incrementing and decrementing inputs to HSC #1 and I/p's #5 & 6 form the two identical channels to HSC #2. However, in the documentation, there are 8 channels referred to? Can you please explain how there are 8 channels, and how do I utilize these?

In the simulator, there is also an additonal HSC3 shown which seems to suggest there is at least a further HSC available. If so, how do I access this? ::)

TRiLOGI is written to support possible future PLCs that could support a larger number of features than what's available on the T100MD+ now. So there are only two HSC in T100MD+. Likewise, even though the View Variable shows 16 channels of ADC and 8 channels of PWM, on the T100MD+ there are only 8 ADC and 2 PWM available.

Similarly, TRiLOGI also shows up to 256 inputs and 256 outputs. But on the T100MD+ PLCs there aren't that many I/O.
