PWM frequency
« on: April 26, 2005, 11:52:15 AM »
Hi,

I tried the SETPWM function with the  Internet TRiLOGI Version 5.32
in this form: "SETPWM 1,5000,1000". I wanted a PWM signal on the output 7 with a 50% duty cycle and 1000Hz of frequency. The problem is that I measured a frequency at 500Hz in the good duty cycle 50% (the period of the pulse is 1ms and the total period is 2ms)

Where is the problem?

Thank you
Vincent

There are only 8 prefixed PWM frequency in the T100MD+ PLCs. Whatever frequency you specify in the SETPWM will be defaulted to the closest available PWM. 500 Hz is one of the supported frequencies. The next high frequency is 2000 Hz. Please read the User's Manual regarding the PWM output specifications.
