PNP proximity sensors
« on: April 17, 2005, 04:42:33 PM »
I am retrofitting a hydraulic press with a T100MD888 & EXP1616R. This press has PNP proximity sensors - how do I connect these proximity sensors to the EXP1616R?

Regards

The EXP1616R has a common terminal. To wire it to PNP sensor, the sensor output goes to the input terminal and the common terminal connects to 0V. So when the sensor output 24V, it will turn on the input and the current returns via the common terminal. Please refer to the installation guide wiring diagram for details.
