Problem with HMI-LCD420
« on: June 21, 2004, 06:36:42 AM »
Hi:

I have a problem with a new HMI-LCD420 conected to MD888.   All information sent to LCD is displayed with bargain characters, random in the display.

I use Clock.PC5 example for test display porpose and the situation is the same, bargain characters random in display.

Please send me any suggestion, maybe command for LCD.....

Thank for your attention :(

When did this problem develop? Did you buy a new MD-HMI with an older T100MD888+?

If you remove power to the PLC, then unplug the expansion cable but leave the LCD cable, and then re-apply power to the PLC, will the LCD display the character properly? If so, it is the expansion port interface problem with the HMI.
