Are you attempting to program through the serial port of the SLC? If so, you will need a programming software package, such as RSLogix 500 and a serial cable.
If the programmer has configured some messaging instructions to talk through the serial port, all you need to access these are a serial cable (null modem) and a terminal emulator program on a personal computer.
