Modems for remote access of M series

I would like to hook up a remote M series plc to a modem and a cellular phone, so that I can access the program when required.  

Do you recommend a particular external modem or should I just shop around, cheap would be helpful.

We haven't personally tested a cellular modem ourselves so we can't really recommend any particular brand. Have heard some users used the Siemen GSM modem with success but it cost a bomb. If you find something low cost and work well please let us know.
