E10-NPN

Can the inputs to the E10-npn be configured to trigger at either a low or a high. I need to set one input at 5-8 volts and an another at 1.5-3 volts.

We are trying to monitor a 180 htz PWM output from a joystick to trigger (at 5-8 volts) a time delay of approx. 3-5 seconds (input 1) which after the delay will trigger a latched output (1) to provide a "float function" for a snow plow.

When the joystick is pulled back we need to trigger (at 1.5-3 volts) (input 2) to drop out the latched output (1). :-/

No, like all standard digital PLC inputs, the E10-npn input trigger level is fixed and cannot be assigned to other values.  Unless you put a low pass filter (a resistor and capacitor) to average out the voltage, the PWM signal you receive will trigger many ON/OFF actions in the PLC program, it will not take the average of the PWM. What is the peak voltage of the PWM signal?

A T100MD888+ with pulse width and pulse frequency measurement functions will be able to directly measure the input signal and perform the required actions effortlessly.
