Tri-ExcelLink upgrade

Hi, I upgraded the trilogi to the last version with the last java version but when I installed again  the Tri-ExcelLink that I had, it doesn´t open It appears on the shortcuts as Tri-ExcelLink 2.0 , I use XP SP 3 , How can I run it?

If you have upgraded to the latest i-TRiLOGI (currently 6.50 & 7.10) that means you have already installed the latest Java runtime on your PC?

When you install the latest Java on your PC, did you let it remove the older JRE 1.4.2? If so that may be the reason why ExcelLink does not work since ExcelLink still needs the older JRE 1.4.2_19.

You can re-install JRE 1.4.2_19 (from your CD) and then run the "ExcelLink21.bat" file in ExcelLink folder to start ExcelLink. That will automatically invoke the JRE 1.4.2_19 to run the ExcelLink software.

There is plan to upgrade the ExcelLink so that it can run on the newer JRE but this is not yet completed. Meanwhile you need to continue to use the older JRE to run this software.
