E10 npn no communication

i am using E10 npn plc.

I am not getting able to download program. Using trilogy 3.5 softwar.
PLC id is not detected.
i am using straight connection cable for program transfer.
Getting message window "No Response From PLC"

I have already checked following things :
1)Using 9 pin D sub connector cable with straight connection
2) cable continuity for all pins (1 to is ok. Pin 9 is not
    showing continuity.
3)Serial port setting standard (baud rate 9600, data bits 8,  
   stop bit 1, parity none etc)
4) PLC is getting power ON and previous program lodaded in
    plc (2 days ago) is working fine. Hence all IOs are
    functioning OK.

1) Is this E10-npn+ (with a "+" at the back of the part number on the CPU label). Only E10-npn+ can be programmed using WinTRiLOGI. The older E10-npn (pre-2004) can only be programmed using DOS TRiLOGI.

2) Make sure that the jumper is put on the RS232 side and not RS485 side.

3) How many COM ports are showing on the COM port selection drop down? Try to select a different COM port in case what you thought was the correct COM port didn't turn up to be so.

4) If all else failed, you may need to replace the 75HVD3082 or 75176 serial driver IC or the transistor PN2222.

i am using E10 npn+
jumper is on rs 232 side
i have got 4 com ports and i checked with al. of them.

I will try to change the IC.
