FRAM-RTC memory addressing
« on: February 25, 2011, 01:03:31 PM »
I am using a Nano-10 in a data logging application
with FRAM-RTC installed
Memory addresses above 1024 do not seem to work.
SAVE_EEP and LOAD_EEP return 0 rather than attempted stored value.
Also EEP utility in latest TRIlogy version limits access above 1024
Is 11K words FRAM contiguous? Start address? End Address?
Please advise.

1) Please ensure that the FRAM-RTC is properly plugged into the socket.

2) Please select "Controller->Get PLC's Hardware Info" to see if the maximum EEPROM space is 11K. If it says only 1024 that means either the FRAM-RTC is faulty or some problem on the Nano-10. You can change a different FRAM-RTC to see if the new FRAM-RTC works. If it still does not work then arrange for RMA and send both PLC and FRAM-RTC back for inspection/trouble-shooting.

Reseating in socket solved the problem. Thank you.
