uploading files to F-series boards

I am having a problem uploading changes to my
F series boards. 2 out every 5 times, the upload hangs, I have to abort and reupload again. I am using a usb port going through the com1 port on the F series card. any suggestions on what to change to get more reliable uploads?

This is unusual. It could be the USB to RS232 converter problem, or a problem with the serial cable between the PLC RS232 ports to the USB converter. You may try a different RS232 converter. Did you have the correct driver for the USB-RS232 converter?

Are you able to perform online monitoring very reliably? That means you should not experience frequent comm error and if you observe the RTC on the View variable screen it should be updating nicely very 1 second.
