Cannot load file
« on: April 02, 2003, 01:56:43 AM »
I cannot load any file with Trilogic 5.12a (edu).
It says ?Error opening file C:\xxxx\Analog-Timer.PC5
File not found or is not valid TRILOGIC file.
I use latest java j2re-1_4_1_01-windows-i586-i.exe
MS WINXP hun service pack 1

It saves ?files, but not open. (I think, but I donnot know the format).
Any idea?

thx Udo

Is your Windows an English version? Although so far we have not heard about problem running Internet TRiLOGI in other language version of Windows. If the O/S only recognize Unicode and not pure ASCII code this may be a problem for loading a file correctly.

We recommend using JRE version 1.3.1. Version 1.4 has not been tested. Maybe you want to download the English version of JRE instead of International language version.

The windows is an Hungarian XP with Servicepack 1.
I will try the older JRE.

Ok it works with english only versions:
j2re-1_3_1_07-windows-i586.exe
j2re-1_4_1_02-windows-i586.exe

and not with international wersions ?:(
j2re-1_3_1_07-windows-i586-i.exe
j2re-1_4_1_02-windows-i586-i.exe

the saved file with international java can be read with english only java by changing the two first caracters from 3F 3F to F8 F5.
It seems, the only problem is the first two bytes....

I think you are able to solve this.
Till that I use the english only java, when I need to start the program.

thx Udo
