Download of Java applet for XServer
« on: March 06, 2009, 05:25:35 AM »
My Xserver, purchased in December, 2008, did not ship with any software. Rather, I was given imstructions and a password to download some utilities, which I did.
With your prompt support and my abandonment of Vista as a platform, the XServer is working nicely on my small LAN.

I now wish to try out this nifty Java applet.
Please provide download instructions.

Also, how do I reconfigure Xserver for a different LAN?
It does not seem to want to go back into config mode once it is configured.

My password for download no longer works.

Which applet are you referring to? If you are referring to the xhmi1.htm it is already pre-installed in your XServer and all you need to do is to enter the IP address in your browser followed by /xhmi1.htm and it will load.

If you are referring to writing your own Java applet then you need to be a Java programmer and obtain the PLCmon.jar library by emailing to support@tri-plc.com .

XServer can be configured by turning on DIP switch #1 on the XServer and then reset it. The red LED will light up and you wait for the RDY green LED to light up before attempting to use the XServer configuration program to re-configure the XServer.
