MD-HMI problem

The MD-HMI keypad is not working, the led indicators blink if I press some keys without being programed and I get no response on the PLC if I press a key. Is there a chance to repair it? The display is working properly.

The ICs 74HC595 and 2 x 74HCT165 could be damaged - most likely caused by hot plugging or unplugging of the connector when power is on. You will need to replace these ICs. But since these are soldered on without socket you should only attempt to self repair if you are good with the soldering iron and have the solder removal tool to work with the board. Please contact support@tri-plc.com if you need a repair cost estimate to determine if it is worth it.
