Application Name: Integrated Controls for Wheel-Chair Lift & Stowage System on Vehicle, by Bruce Jansen
PLCs Utilized: T22H-npn (Legacy Product)
Description: Brucen Jansen is a a T-6 complete paraplegi. He purchased a truck and outfitted it with a crane for the wheelchair and a mechanism to lift the camper top installed over the bed. When the installation was complete, he had separate controls for the crane (6 switches) and the camper shell. Fumbling with all the switches was a nightmare. But by installing Triangle Research PLC in parallel with all of the switches and along with a remote car door opener, Bruce was able to automate the entire wheelchair removal and replacement process.
